The Primary programs extend the goals of the Early Learning Program. Students are equipped with 21st Century Learning Skills to maximize their cognitive, physical, and social/emotional potential. We utilize a developmentally appropriate approach to learning that is supported by a comprehensive, thematic designed curriculum.
Small class sizes are emphasized in the Primary program to allow teachers to know each student as an individual. Teachers develop relationships with students to understand how they learn best and what interests them. Our core curriculum infuses art, music, and cultural and language studies. We emphasize the development of the whole child and allow students to develop a greater sense of self through creative learning. A more in-depth study of Nigerian history is introduced during these very informative years, allowing students to gain a deeper appreciation of cultural and national pride.
Developmentally appropriate learning experiences, such as educational field trips, cultural programs, internal and external competitions, and leadership roles, allow students to achieve social excellence.
