Our enrichment programs
Student Life
Whole school assemblies take place at the beginning of a new session/term and at the end of a term/session. The closing assemblies are usually end-of-term/year celebrations for all our children in different areas – behaviour, academics, sports, co-curricular, house, boarding, external competitions, and so on. Thus, every child is celebrated. In addition, house points are announced for the four houses – Mamman, Halima, Ifejola, and Aduke. In addition to the whole school assemblies, we have sectional, aerobic, house, and gender assemblies, including form tutor sessions.
Tea parties are scheduled according to year groups at the beginning of a new session for parents to be abreast of curriculum areas and other academic/non-academic activities. Our open days are usually well attended by our parents. In addition, there are meetings with parents of different year groups during an educational session, including meetings with parents of certificate pupils/students.
our Facilities
Our top-notch facilities include a boarding school where all rooms have en-suite facilities. Students are supported through extra coaching provided by our resident teaching staff and a supervision rota guiding our dedicated boarding staff. Several special rooms including science laboratories (physics/chemistry/biology/basic science), music, home economics, audio-visual, computer, agricultural science, technical drawing, and libraries provide the appropriate ambiance for teaching and learning. There is a multi-purpose hall, a dining hall, and currently, under construction, another multi-purpose hall to serve both the IUFP and other sections. Our bus services are available for parents who cannot drop off or pick up their children while nutritious meals are provided a la carte.
